Try It

Come try dock jumping in a stress free environment with some of our club members!
Even if you're not sure if your dog swims, or even likes water, this may be an exciting activity for your pet, and your whole family!

Our team will hold a demonstration, followed by a hands-on practice session for those who are signed up (or are interested in signing up). First we will get your dog familiar with the ramp, walking them  in and out of the pool, followed by a swim to get your pup acclimated to the water.  Our volunteers will be in the water with your dog to help them gain confidence.  The next step is getting your dog's playful nature engaged to start chasing a toy down the dock. The final part is using that excitement to overcome any fear the dog might have of jumping into the water. It is really fun to watch a dog get over that fear and make its first happy jump in!

We will make every effort possible to teach everyone how to handle your dogs in this super fun sport! We will also make sure that your dog will feel comfortable as well.

All of our sports have been a huge success for both the dogs and their handlers, as well as the fans that cheer on the dogs!

$25.00 for each dog with a maximum of 8 dogs per session.  Two sessions will be held once a month starting in June.  Please keep checking the website or facebook page for when sessions open for registration.

You do not pay with registration.

You pay on site the day of the Try It. Please be considerate of other people wanting to try it.  If you preregister and need to cancel, there is no problem.  Please contact us so we can give your spot to the next person in line.  Please consider membership though since we have the pool and dock set up for as much practice as possible for members along many other benefits.

Please pay by cash, check, Visa or MasterCard at the event!  ($35 fee for any returned checks)
