About Us

Ultimate Air Dogs History

Started in 2005 by former Detroit Tigers Pitcher
Milt Wilcox, & his son Brian, Ultimate Air Dogs has soared to the top simply because of a down to earth attitude, grass-roots background, and ability to make every competitor feel welcome! The philosophy of UAD is all about “family”

Hudson River Air Dogs History

We at Hudson River Air Dogs are a group of people who love the sport, our families and our pets. Along the way we have gained great friendships and respect for many others in the sport. Being fairly small in comparison to other sports, we wanted to give residents of the Hudson valley another option for jumping their dogs.

A handful of us discussed it a few times. Then we sat down to really see if we could do this with our busy schedules and tight budget. With the help of Milt Wilcox and the generous spirit of so many around, it started to happen.

Once we started to let others know what we wanted to do the common response was "i'm in". So many others wanted another option like us and when it came to choosing an organization to be affiliated with it became very clear that Ultimate Air Dogs was the one. They stand for good sportsmanship, fun and when comparing the disciplines with other organizations, our pets safety is of high concern as well.

We are set up as a 501c7 Not-for-Profit organization. We intend on holding fundraisers for other deserving organizations as we grow as a club. One of our main goals was and is to have a practice dock and pool set up so members can enjoy practicing with the dogs and family as much as possible. At the same time we are keeping it as affordable as possible and offer different types of membership to accommodate those needs.

We warmly invite you to join our growing family of Hudson River Air Dogs.
